it's raining ice

not men, ice. Husby tried to take pictures, but the only way i can upload pics to this blog is if they're taken on my cell phone. so all the pics on this blog are cell taken. it does take pretty decent pictures, but not in the dark, of iced over car windows. so no pics of that.

it really was a celebratory, honoring occasion. the mayor spoke, a state senator spoke, they had a catered lunch, ALL the middle school kids were dressed up, and grandpa had a great time. he had brought pictures and shotgun shells to pass around, prepared a "speech" around those items, and gabbed with 65 other veterans about life. i was very proud to be his granddaughter.
